Ready for an unforgettable adventure at Sci-Port Discovery Center, a sprawling 92,000 square foot hub of science and entertainment nestled along the stunning downtown Shreveport riverfront. This amazing destination features Louisiana's Science and Space Center(LSSC), the exciting Power of Play (PoP) Children's museum, the captivating Gallery of Intrigue, and the state's only IMAX Dome! Dive into LSSC's world over 200 hands-on exhibits, thrilling interactive programs, and mesmerizing demonstrations, all topped off by the incredible Sawyer Space Dome Planetarium. And for our little explorers aged 8 and under, PoP is a fantastic Kid-sized Shreveport-Bossier where the magic of play comes to life!

HUGS, Inc. is thrilled to join Principal Cheryl Boudreaux and the amazing 5th-grade graduating class at the Magnolia School of Excellence in celebration! These bright students have played a vital role in the success of our mentoring program. In Shreveport, LA, it is a tradition for most 5th graders to move up to 6th grade each year, and the promotion rates across Louisiana are an impressive 97% to 99%! Our Local students are making incredible strides academically, with recent data showing the 5th graders achieving some of the district's strongest gains on standardized tests. It's partnerships like HUGS, Inc., and the Magnolia School of Excellence that truly make a difference! Congratulations to all the fantastic teachers and students!

Our joyful little Elves at HUGS, Inc. made a delightful visit to the Heritage Manor nursing home, radiating love and enthusiasm. The Elves' excitement was absolutely contagious as they eagerly connected with the wonderful residents. It was heartwarming to witness the delightful connections between the young and the young-at-heart, showcasing the incredible similarities they share! Both generations celebrate the present, cherish honesty, and crave those simple, joyful moments. These beautiful bonds create amazing benefits for everyone involved!
